Synopsis
Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) fakes sick to skip school for a day, roping in his best friend Cameron Frye (Alan Ruck) and girlfriend Sloane Peterson (Mia Sara) for a whirlwind adventure through downtown Chicago — borrowing Cameron’s dad’s prized Ferrari, crashing a parade, visiting the Art Institute, and eating at a fancy restaurant — all while outrunning his suspicious school dean, Principal Rooney (Jeffrey Jones), and his equally suspicious sister Jeannie (Jennifer Grey), who’s determined to prove Ferris is faking.
